Principal

The firm is headed by its founder and principal, Babatunde A.M. Fashanu, S.A.N., an alumnus of the University of Lagos LL.B (1979), was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1980 (B.L.) and bagged his Masters in law at the University of London’s Queen Mary College in 1982 (LL.M). He took silk in 2002 when he was sworn-in as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria. He worked briefly as State Counsel but worked with major solicitors firm, Lateef Adegbite & Co., and a leading advocates firm, Chambers of H.A. Lardner, SAN for years rising to deputy head of that Chambers before setting-up his own law firm in 1989. Numerous lawyers have passed through this Chambers and are now on the bench or own their own Chambers or are associates of law firms or partnerships. Mr. Fashanu is a full-fledged member of the Body of Senior Advocates of Nigeria, the Nigerian Bar Association (N.B.A.) and the International Bar Association (I.B.A.). He is also a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators.
